The 30mm UFF is an excellent eyepiece. Perfect viewing experience with the large 70 afov which feels more like 72 afov. It is very good for viewing nebula but was a lot of fun on star clusters. The pin point stars look like little gems on black silk, especially when viewing the double cluster Caldwell 14.

I have three different sets of eyepieces. 24mm APM UFF, 18 mm Uff, and the Baader Morpheus 12.5 mm. I had the Nikon 20x120 III several years ago and fell in love with the big binocular views on the night sky. The Nikon was excellent but I can honestly say I like the APM more.

I am using a 103/6 refractor. The 9mm XWA is sharp to the edges, the 20mm is good for most of it but not right to the edge. That cleans up with a barlow.
